CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT (TD) PROJECT

GUIDELINES
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Academic Position: Applicants must hold a regular academic position at the
Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Manipur.
2. Qualification: The PI and Co-PIs must hold a Ph.D. degree in Engineering or
Science.
Nature and Duration of Support:
1. Scope of Support: The TEXMiN-IIIT Manipur Mining CPS Centre of
Excellence (CoE) will support individual researchers or research groups
working exclusively at IIIT Manipur.
2. Project Duration: The project duration is strictly two (02) years.
3. Funding Limit: The maximum funding provided for the entire project is
₹13 lakhs (Indian Rupees Thirteen Lakhs only).
4. Proposal Limit: An applicant may submit only one proposal per call as PI.
Selection of Application:
Selection will be based on the recommendations of the Technology Development
Project Advisory Committee constituted by the competent authority (Head of the
Institute).
Plagiarism:
1. Submitted proposals must present original ideas and content.
2. Plagiarism in any form will not be tolerated.
3. All proposals will undergo a similarity check, and any found to be plagiarized will
be rejected.

Documents Required:
1. Complete proposal as per the format provided.
2. Biodata (Both PI and Co-PI).
3. Certificate from principal investigator.
4. If the project is approved, the quotations of the approved equipment need to be
submitted within a week of the date of the Approval letter.
